Here’s the latest from Amplify this week: this morning, Amplify company Clutter announced that it closed a $20 Million Series B led by Sequoia. Clutter is a full-service on-demand physical storage company currently operating in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey and the Bay Area. Clutter joined Amplify in 2014 and has raised $33M to date from Sequoia,Resolute & Amplify.LA among others.

In other company news, The Flex Company, the most recent addition to the Amplify portfolio, received an unexpected stream of press last week after getting picked up by TechCrunch reporter Josh Constine.

The Bouqs founder John Tabis also got some well deserved recognition, being named a semi-finalist for EY’s entrepreneur of the year award.

On the LA side, Adam Besvinick of Deep Fork Capital published a post titled “Why I’m Bullish on LA Tech.” Given our shared outlook, we’re equally bullish on his future in this town!
