Amplify company Tapcart (pictured here at their new offices) recently announced $4M in seed funding.

Here’s the latest from Amplify this week!

Tapcart, a SaaS platform enabling eCommerce companies to launch and manage branded mobile apps, announced a $4M Seed round led by Greycroft. Tapcart’s apps optimize the mobile shopping experience, increasing engagement and conversions for some of the largest eCommerce brands. The funding will help them launch advanced mobile marketing tools and expand their offering to additional eCommerce platforms.

Ready, Set, Food!, a provider of a daily supplement for newborns that can reduce the risk of developing allergies by nearly 80%, recently closed $2.2M in new funding. Ready, Set, Food!’s product is designed to follow the latest clinical research in early allergen introduction and is already recommended by 300+ pediatricians and allergists.

Honeybee, an online pharmacy that provides generic drugs at wholesale pricing, launched their service in Texas and Mississippi. This marks 39 states live on the platform, with more coming soon. They also recently launched their latest branding, which you can check out here.

Here at Amplify, we recently released our Q2 LA Seed Deal Report. This quarter showed healthy growth, with 24 LA companies raising $62.1M in venture funding.
